South China is well known for its water towns dotted around the Taihu Lake and the surrounded area. If you watched the Hollywood film "Mission Impossible III", you may had been impressed by the unique scene of Chinese Water Town with wood structure house, stone bridges over the river and the corridor with ceilings lines by the waters. That is what we will visit - The Watertown of Xitang.
We will pick you up early in the morning. We take a private car or van for 2.5 hours to Xitang. Xitang is very typical water town with wood corridor, stone-paved lanes. People is living a very simple life here, old people sitting by the door, playing with their grandkids, women cooking meals and washing clothes by the waters. We will also visit some scenic sopts like Xiyuan Garden, Xue's House, Wangxian Bridge, Rice Wine Showroom and Shop and so on and have a nice local food lunch in the small restaurant in town.
