Nanxun, just like other ancient towns in the water land in the south of Yangtze River, have typical scenery of small bridges, rivulets and cottages set up by waters, and here you can also find bridges of one thousand years and houses of one hundred years, and hear many names. However, what made Nanxun different is that you can taste the fashion of the past while being fully involved in tradition. In this small town, there are buildings combining the East and West which were built over one century ago. That is how Nanxun charms us.
Our tour guide will meet you in the morning; we take a private car or van for 1.5 hours to Nanxun. Upon arrival, we will visit Xiaolianzhuang Garden, which previously was the private garden of the top rich man in Nanxun who combines eastern and western style of architecture and decoration in the design of the garden. Then we will visit Jiayetang Library, Three Ancient Bridges and Baijianlou Buildings, the Former Nanxun Silk Association, Cultural Park, etc. We come back to Hangzhou later in the afternoon.
